Kattegat vodka originates from one single variety of new potato. In the same way that weather, region and grape add character to a fine wine, our seasonal spuds bring their signature aroma, or heart, to our vodka. 10 kg of new potatoes is needed to develop 500ml of potato vodka. Whereas one litre of grain vodka only requires a kilo of grain. The flavour and quality are given further dimension through master blender Solveig Sommarström's pot still and rectification process. The result is a unique, complex vintage vodka.
